University of Toronto Computer Science Post Adminssion Requirement 2023
In this post we will list and compare the Computer Science 2023 POSt Adminssion Requirements on all 3 University of Toronto campuses.
What is POSt?
POSt: Program of Study.
In the first year of Computer Science of UofT, a student will be accepted into one of three admission categories - Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics. If the student meet the grade requirements specific to his/her category, he/she will be allowed to enter his/her program of study in second year. This is called entering POSt.
The post requirements of UofT are different every year, the following are the requirements for 2023.
UTSC Computer Science POSt requirement 2023:
UofT Scarborough Campus.
- Students in Computer Science Category:
- A grade point average of at least 2.5 across the following five courses: CSC/MAT A67, CSC A48, MAT A22, MAT A31, MAT A37.
- A grade of at least B in CSC A48.
- A grade of at least C- in two of CSC/MAT A67, MAT A22, MAT A37.
- Students in Mathmatics and Statistics Categories:
- Students will be selected for admission to these spaces based on their grades in CSC/MAT A67, CSC A48, MAT A22, MAT A37.
- Students in Categories from outside of Computer Science, Mathmatics and Statistics:
- At least an A- in both CSC/MAT A67 and MAT A31 the first time that they complete those courses.
Note: Those grades do not guarantee admission. Also, for the extra admission spaces, retaking courses might not increase the chances of being admitted.

UTM Computer Science POSt requirement 2023:
UofT Mississauga Campus.
... The CS minor is open to any student. The CS major and specialist, information security specialist, and bioinformatics specialist are all restricted enrollment programs that require minimum marks in particular courses (CSC148H5 and MAT102H5) and a minimum CGPA.
- May 2023 Enrollment Round:
- The requirements are 80 percent in CSC148H5, 73 percent in MAT102H5, and a 3.0 CGPA.
- August 2023 Enrollment Round:
- The requirements are 80 percent in CSC148H5, 73 percent in MAT102H5, and a 3.0 CGPA.
Not include CR/NCR grades when calculating CGPA. Only CSC148H5 and MAT102H5 are taken at the UTM campus will be accepted for the purposes of program enrolment.

UTSG Computer Science POSt requirement 2023:
UofT St. George Campus.
- Students in CMP1 Admission Category:
...Students admitted to Arts & Science in the Year 1 Computer Science (CMP1) admission category are guaranteed admission to these programs provided they meet these requirements within 12 months of beginning their studies in CMP1:
- 4.0 full course FCE
- CSC110Y1 70%
- CSC111H1 77%
- Complete MAT137Y1 or MAT157Y1
