What is Ontario's One Fare Program?
Ontario's One Fare Program is a seamless transit fare integration. it will enable transit users to pay a single fare when they transfer between the TTC and GO Transit, Brampton Transit, Durham Region Transit, MiWay and York Region Transit.

How to Tap Your Card?
Warning: Please note that the following information is for reference only. For accurate information, please check the official information or contact the public transit system.
1. From the TTC to GO Transit / Brampton Transit / Durham Region Transit / MiWay / York Region Transit:
- Tap your PRESTO card, credit or debit card, or PRESTO in Google Wallet on a PRESTO reader when boarding. Your two-hour transfer will be automatically applied. No additional fare is charged within two hours of your first TTC tap. For GO Transit transfers, you'll be reimbursed for the TTC portion.
- When transferring you still need to tap. You won't be charged another fare as long as you are within two-hours of your first tap on the TTC. (For transfers to GO Transit, you will be reimbursed for the TTC portion of your fare, as long as you are within two-hours of your first tap).
- When transferring to other vehicles during your journey, you will have to continue to tap your card.
2. If traveling on a TTC bus into Mississauga or York Region (Boarding a TTC bus into Mississauga or York Region):
- Tap your PRESTO card, credit or debit card, or PRESTO in Google Wallet to pay your TTC fare when boarding and get a two-hour transfer. When exiting in Mississauga or York Region, tap your original payment method again. No MiWay or YRT fare is charged within two hours of your first TTC tap. The same process applies to TTC buses traveling in Mississauga and York Region.
- Tap your original original card (method) of payment again when exiting your TTC bus in Mississauga or York Region. You won't be charged a MiWay or YRT fare as long as you are within two hours of your first tap on the TTC.
- Tap your original original card (method) of payment again when transferring to another MiWay or YRT bus
3. From Brampton Transit / Durham Region Transit / MiWay / York Region Transit to the TTC:
- Tap your PRESTO card, credit or debit card, or PRESTO in Google Wallet on a PRESTO reader when boarding. Your two-hour transfer will be automatically applied. No additional fare is charged within two hours of your first tap.
- When transferring you still need to tap. You won't be charged another fare as long as you are within two-hours of your first tap.
- When transferring to other vehicles during your journey, you will have to continue to tap your card.
4. From Brampton Transit / Durham Region Transit / MiWay / York Region Transit to GO Transit:
- Tap your PRESTO card, credit or debit card, or PRESTO in Google Wallet on a PRESTO reader when boarding.
- When transferring to GO Transit you tap again, your full local transit fare will be deducted from your card as long as you are within two-hours of your first tap.
- Tap on and off GO Transit, and your GO fare will be adjusted accordingly.
5. From GO Transit to Brampton Transit / Durham Region Transit / MiWay / York Region Transit:
- Tap on and off GO Transit using your PRESTO card, credit, or debit card.
- When transferring to the local transit you have to tap again, you won't be charge for the local transit portion as long as you are within three-hours of starting the GO transit trip.

- PRESTO automatically calculates a 100% discount and applies it to a PRESTO card, credit or debit card, or PRESTO in Google Wallet. Commuters must tap on and off using the same card.
- Transfers remain valid for 2 hours for trips initiated on local transit and within 3e hours of starting a GO Transit trip.
- The payment method used for tapping and paying the fare serves as the customer's proof of payment. When approached for fare inspection, riders should tap the same card, phone, or watch used during the inspection.
- When connecting between TTC and GO Transit, the TTC portion of the trip becomes free, regardless of travel direction.
- For trips connecting between TTC and local transit systems, the second leg of the journey becomes free (the initial payment enables a two-hour free transfer across all systems).
